The Startup Preschool Kaunas was organized in collaboration with Tech-Park Kaunas. The event took place on April 11-13 at the Tech-Park Kaunas premises. The 3-day intensive entrepreneurial course allowed 15 young creators and startup enthusiasts to deepen their entrepreneurial knowledge and improve their business planning skills. The event culminated in Saturday’s pitch presentations, where participants demonstrated how they were able to transform theory into actionable ideas in a short time.
Dr. Mantas Venslauskas, a member of the Tech-Park Kaunas community, made an important contribution to the courses. As a visiting guest from the local ecosystem, he shared his journey of creating Vilimball, an innovative health technology device that reduces essential hand tremors and has already attracted significant interest and investment.
Gytautas Kulakauskas, Investment Environment Project Manager of the Business Division at “Kaunas IN,” shared insights about the local ecosystem and provided a valuable overview of the startup and business scene in Lithuania. His monthly “Kaunastic Startups Meetups” have become a platform for startups to share their experiences and discuss challenges and innovations in the sector. A few participants of the Startup Preschool came directly from these meetups.
