Held from March 20–22, 2024, the Startup Preschool in Málaga gathered 10 participants from diverse backgrounds. Thanks to the weekday schedule, the program attracted more international professionals than students, including participants from Brazil, France, and Portugal.
The training featured presentations from companies such as Conecta Turismo and DELVY, who shared practical insights and experiences in entrepreneurship development. Local and regional public entities — including Andalucía Emprende and the University of Málaga — introduced participants to the Andalusian entrepreneurship ecosystem and available funding and support programmes.
To promote the initiative, Startup Migrants launched a dynamic outreach campaign targeting deep-tech founders. Local partners such as Promálaga, the municipal Network of Incubators, and strategic partners of Málaga TechPark — including the Association of Science and Technology Parks of Spain (APTE) — helped amplify the event’s visibility. Online newspapers such as Europa Press also contributed to the promotion.
During the program, live Instagram Stories and social media posts highlighted key moments, strengthening engagement and showcasing participants’ experience.
