The online Dual-Use & Defence Pitch Session, powered by EuroQuity – Bpifrance, featured atTRACTION as part of the event.: Connecting Deep-Tech Innovation Ecosystems project.
The virtual session brought together innovative startups, investors, and industry experts to showcase cutting-edge technologies developed for defence and dual-use applications, fostering cross-border dialogue and collaboration across Europe.
During the session, the following startups presented their solutions:
- Next Generation Rail Technologies S.L. (Spain) – Real-time railway infrastructure monitoring
- BROSWARM (Lithuania) – Advanced airborne landmine and subsurface object detection
- TD AUTONOMY (Lithuania) – AI-powered “Terminal Guidance” modules for UAV autonomy
- OWO Defense (Spain) – Immersive tactical training systems using haptics and VR
- Pikralida (Poland) – Dual-use therapies for neuroprotection and snakebite envenoming
- Chitomed P.S.A. (Poland) – High-quality chitosan biomaterials for medical applications
The session was evaluated by an expert jury consisting of: Viktorija Trimbel (CoInvest Capital), Sandra Golbreich (BSV Ventures), Luc Berns (Ilavska Vuillermoz Capital), Eva Faltusova (Rockway Ventures), Petri Rajahalme (FOV Ventures), Guillaume Haviland (Edge 40), and Sophia Habsburg-Lothringen (Expeditions).
The startups participating in this pitch session were identified and supported with the help of three local partners: Poznan Science and Technology Park of Adam Mickiewicz University Foundation (Poland), Tech-Park Kaunas (Lithuania), and Málaga TechPark | Parque Tecnológico de Andalucía (Spain).
