Málaga TechPark successfully concluded the second edition of the atTRACTION webinar series on 27 February, closing the programme with an expert session dedicated to value-adding investment strategies that go beyond capital.
The final session, titled “Smart Investment: Key Strategies to Add Value Beyond Capital”, explored how investors can meaningfully contribute to the growth of Deep Tech startups through mentorship, strategic guidance and ecosystem connections. Speakers emphasised that capital alone is not enough to scale cutting-edge technologies — investor involvement, expertise and networks play an equally critical role.
The webinar was led by Carmen González, a seasoned startup advisor with more than 15 years of experience supporting entrepreneurial growth. González has directed multiple incubation and acceleration initiatives, including at Polo Digital and the High-Tech Metaverse Incubator, and now leads startup investment attraction efforts in Málaga. Her background combines strategic insight with strong networking and hands-on experience guiding founders and investors through the fundraising journey.
This closing session reflected atTRACTION’s broader mission to strengthen the European Deep Tech investment ecosystem, foster more inclusive innovation environments and highlight the leadership of women in investment and entrepreneurship.
Held in Spanish from 10:00 to 11:00 CET, the webinar attracted stakeholders from across Europe and provided a practical, actionable conclusion to the 2024–2025 atTRACTION learning series.
