atTRACTION webinar brings together global experts to explore access to capital across Europe, the US and LATAM

Málaga TechPark successfully hosted a new session of the atTRACTION webinar series on 13 February, gathering innovation leaders, investors and ecosystem stakeholders to explore international pathways for Deep Tech companies seeking capital beyond their home markets.

The webinar, titled “Access to Capital: Europe, US and LATAM”, offered a practical deep dive into global funding opportunities and the strategies European startups can use to connect with international investors, accelerators and business angel networks. Participants gained insights into navigating diverse investment landscapes, understanding cross-regional dynamics and positioning their companies for global growth.

The session was led by Joaquín Tegtmeier, entrepreneur, mentor and expert in international innovation ecosystems. Drawing from his experience in Start-Up Chile, Draper University (where he served as Entrepreneur in Residence), and his current role as Head of Mentoring at BIC Euronova, Tegtmeier outlined key success factors for founders aiming to build bridges between Europe, Silicon Valley and Latin America.

This webinar is part of the broader atTRACTION initiative, which aims to strengthen the European Deep Tech investment ecosystem and improve startup access to international capital. The series delivers hands-on, actionable content for investors, support organisations and innovators navigating the complexities of Deep Tech financing.

The session attracted a diverse audience of professionals from across Europe, reflecting the growing demand for structured knowledge on scaling Deep Tech ventures globally.

The webinar was held in Spanish and took place from 10:00 to 11:00 CET.
