The Innovators Breakfast event was held in Kaunas on the 28th of November. The event, dedicated to defence and dual-purpose technologies, attracted significant participation of 59 attendees, showcasing the potential for deep-tech companies to align with Lithuania’s defence priorities.  the session highlighted the ability of startups to innovate in high-impact sectors and attract public funding and co-funding opportunities, which contributed to the overall engagement and value of the session.

The event was held in the hybrid format, which combined on-site and online participation.

A notable success story involved a Lithuanian startup that secured a partnership with a Paris hospital after participating in an international event organized by the Choose Paris Region initiative. This success underscores the value of the training and networking opportunities provided by the sessions, which enabled startups to expand their international partnerships and market presence.

The event was also a showcase of good ecosystem collaboration and synergies with key organizations like the Lithuanian Innovation Agency, Startup Lithuania, Kaunas Inn, and Tech-Park Kaunas. The involvement of these entities highlights the importance of engagement of established local networks to ensure continuity and long-term support for start-ups.
