Málaga TechPark, together with the Málaga Pole National Digital Content, organised a Deep-Tech Start-ups Demo Day within the annual event Winter Invest 2025. For the event deep-tech start-ups with high-impact technological solutions were selected and given the opportunity to pitch their proposals to investment funds, business angels and other key actors in innovation and entrepreneurship, facilitating new investment conversations and strategic partnerships aligned with atTRACTION’s ambition to connect innovation ecosystems and mobilise capital for deep-tech growth.

The Demo Day took place on Thursday, 11 December, at the Málaga Pole National Digital Content – High Technology Incubator in Metaverse. The Winter Invest 2025 event brought together more than 200 professionals, 37 investors, 60 innovation ecosystem stakeholders, and nearly 100 registered start-ups, creating a unique environment to connect capital, talent and new opportunities.

A total of seven deep-tech start-ups were selected to pitch during the Demo Day, covering diverse application areas including haptics and immersive training, MedTech devices, immersive surgical education, AI-driven educational content creation, real-time voice AI, AI-assisted film creation and distribution, and EdTech solutions leveraging the metaverse, AI, robotics and VR. The selected start-ups were: OWO, AIRWAY SHIELD SL, Msurgery, Novelingo S.L., Voicepowered AI, PlayMovieAI, and Bebyte.

The main award was given to OWO, a Málaga-based deep-tech company that has developed and patented a wireless haptic vest enabling users to experience real physical sensations in real time through advanced haptic technology.

The prize consists of an invitation to Bpifrance DeepTech Week 2026, to be held in Paris (France) from 16 to 20 March 2026, providing a high-level international platform to connect with Europe’s deep-tech innovation and investment ecosystem.
